Poulet au four au citron (lemon chicken in the oven)

1 chicken of 1.4 kg, cut in 10 pieces, skinned
2 tbs olive oil
25 g butter
1 ts oregano
2 untreated lemons
salt & pepper

Salt and pepper the chicken. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Heat the oil in a large round casserole. Melt butter. Brown the chicken pieces for 15 m. Transfer the pieces to an oven dish. 
Put the oregano in a bowl. Wash lemons and finely grate their peel over the bowl. Press juice out of the lemons and add. Sprinkle the mixed juice over the pieces of chicken. Put the dish in the oven for 1 h. Eventually, add some water and turn over the pieces once. 
Serve at once. The dish can also be served cold with pasta.
